Donation of Eye is an exemplary act of human service. We have 2.5 million corneal blind in our country. It is tragic that 20,000 blind add on to this backlog each year. Most of them can regain vision by corneal Grafting Surgery only when someone donate the eyes of their departed friends, kith and kin.

· Register yourselves, family and friends as Eye Donors free of Cost

· Print the WALLET CARD and carry always with you

· Diabetes, Hypertension, Old Age, wearing spectacles etc are No BAR for eye donation

· Eyes should be collected with in SIX Hours of death.

· Collection of Eyes will only take 20 minutes and will not disfigure the face of the donor.

· The deceased need not necessarily be an Eye donor for donation of eyes.

· Collection, Processing & distribution of Eyes are done totally Free of Cost

· When you come ACROSS death, please

o Appeal to the kith & kin of the deceased to Donate Eyes

o Inform Eye Bank Immediately

o Put a polythene cover with ice cubes on FOREHEAD.

o RAISE the head with pillow and put off the fan

o CLOSE the eyes

· The information can be given to any Government Hospital or Government Authorised Hospital.
